Beyond Nen Lineage Guide: Every Clan, Rarity Tier, and Perk

Your lineage in Beyond Nen is one of the three rolls at character creation (alongside Race and Nen Affinity), and it can be rerolled with spins at any time. Community data lists 20 clans across six rarity tiers, from 0.5% mythical Zoldyck down to a 50% common tier. The catch: almost none of the perks are officially documented yet — only Zoldyck’s kit is known from Early Access footage. This page collects everything that is known, clearly separates video-verified facts from community-reported ones, and will be re-verified in-game after launch.

How lineage rolls work

Lineage is rolled in the character creation screen, in its own panel next to Race and Nen Affinity. The basics:

• Rolled at creation, rerolled anytime — rerolls consume spins, the same currency used for the other two rolls;
• Lineage attributes unlock at level 30 (community-reported), together with unique lineage quests per clan;
• Effects stack on top of your affinity, not instead of it — lineage shapes your stats and passives, affinity gates your skill pool.

Only a handful of effects are known today, all from Early Access footage:

Reroll strategy: how many spins do you need?

One data point from footage: the creator burned about 100 spins to move from Netero to Zoldyck. That lines up with a 0.5% mythical tier — expect double-digit spins for anything in the top two tiers, and do not be surprised by worse. Two practical takeaways:

1. Keep a decent hold while you grind. Netero’s bonus money plus a free Nen ability is a fine early-game package; a common-tier lineage will not stop you from leveling;
2. Do not chase race rolls before lineage. Races were the least impactful roll in footage — if spins are short, they are the first thing to skip.
