FAQ

What do you roll at the start of Beyond Nen?
Three things, each rolled separately with spins: Race, Lineage (Clan), and Nen Affinity. Aim for your lineage and affinity first — the race roll matters least.
Which lineages are the rarest?
Per Early Access footage: Zoldyck, Freecss, and Kurta are the top tier, with roughly a 10% chance per spin to land one of the three. Netero is the most common roll, granting bonus money and one Nen ability.
What does the Zoldyck lineage give you?
Per the video: bonus money plus an assassin ability — +25 Spirit movement, +15 damage, +5 durability, an electric passive, and poison resistance. These numbers are not yet verified in-game.
How do Nen affinities work?
Six affinities: Enhancement, Transmutation, Emission, Conjuration, Manipulation, and Specialization. Your affinity gates which abilities you can learn — Specialist can take mythical-tier abilities, so prioritize it.
What is locked behind the skill tree?
The full skill tree requires Dem (premium currency). Early on you only have Combat Styles — spend attribute points there and put them into STR first to unlock further skills.
How do I get Early Access?
Officially: invite 5 people to the official Discord for EA (300 spots, playable 2 days before release), then invite 3 more for EA+ (200 spots, playable immediately, plus a future in-game item and a giftable EA slot). Some creators also run invite giveaways in their comments.
When does Beyond Nen release publicly?
No official date yet. The creator Early Access week started around October 5 and lasts one week, and creators say the public launch follows next week if all goes well — confirm via the official Discord.

Character creation in Beyond Nen is a triple roll: Race, Lineage, and Nen Affinity, each spun separately with spins — and the three together decide how strong your start is. Specialist affinity can take mythical-tier abilities, the Zoldyck lineage ships with an assassin skill, and the rarest race (Celestial) sits at roughly a 1% roll. This guide distills Brazilian creator CauazinnW7’s Early Access footage (embedded below) plus the official Discord EA rules; every spoken number will be re-verified in-game after the public launch.

What do you roll at character creation?

Three independent panels, three independent spins:

Roll Options Known rarity (per footage)
Race Celestial, Cyborg, Human, and more Celestial is mythical, ~1%; Cyborg ~4%
Lineage Zoldyck, Freecss, Kurta, Netero, Lucifer, Morrow, and more Top three combined ~10% per spin; Netero most common
Nen Affinity Enhancement, Transmutation, Emission, Conjuration, Manipulation, Specialization Specialization hardest to land

Strategy from the video: grind lineage first, then affinity, race last — races “don’t give much” (his words), while lineage and affinity define your skill pool.

Which lineages are worth keeping?

Lineage Based on Per-footage effects
Zoldyck Killua’s family Bonus money; assassin ability (+25 Spirit movement, +15 damage, +5 durability, electric passive, poison resistance)
Freecss Gon’s family One of the top-three rare lineages
Kurta Kurapika’s family One of the top-three rare lineages; Scarlet Eyes theme
Netero The Chairman Most common roll; bonus money + one Nen ability (a fine early-game hold)
Lucifer / Morrow — Rolled mid-video; Lucifer called “the best of the three” at that point

It took the creator about 100 spins to move off Netero onto Zoldyck. If your spins are limited, keeping Netero is a reasonable start — its money bonus helps early progression.

How do Nen affinities work?

The six affinities mirror the source material (see our Nen types primer), but in Beyond Nen your affinity gates your skill pool. Two routes confirmed on camera:

  • Specialization: mythical-tier abilities — the creator pulled an “Aura Corruption”-type skill the moment he switched to Specialist;
  • Conjuration: a “Crazy Slots”-style ability exists (Kite’s signature, transposed).

Priority per the video: Specialist first, Conjurer second. Affinities can be re-rolled with spins later, so a bad first roll is not the end of the world.

Combat first impressions: parry is the core

Combat is the best-reviewed part of the playtest: fluid basic chains, a block, a parry, an area attack (combo opener), a slam-down finisher, and crits. Two practical notes:

  1. The creator’s first match was on a laggy public server and parry timings drifted — pick or host a low-latency server before practicing parries;
  2. Repeating the same quest costs 25% of its XP — rotate quests while leveling.

Skill tree and attribute points

What you can actually invest early is Combat Styles: put attribute points into STR to unlock the later skills. The full skill tree is gated behind Dem (premium currency). The Robux shop (skateboard, Kurapika outfit, Killua yo-yo, and so on) is mostly cosmetics — the yo-yo’s description does mention synergy with a “God Speed” skill, if you care.

How do you get Early Access?

From the official Discord announcement (October 5):

  1. EA: invite 5 people to the official Discord — 300 spots, playable 2 days before public release;
  2. EA+: already have EA and invite 3 more — 200 spots, playable immediately, plus a future in-game item and 1 giftable EA slot.

Some creators (including this video’s author) run invite giveaways in their comment sections: leave your Roblox display name and username to enter. Note that EA has nothing to do with redeem codes — codes can only exist after the public launch, and once they drop we will test and list them on our codes page within minutes.

When is the public release?

No official date yet. The known timeline: the creator Early Access week started around October 5 and lasts one week, and the video’s author (October 6) says the game “launches for everyone next week if all goes well”. Combined with the EA+ “play until release” rule on Discord, the launch is imminent — the moment a date is official, every page on this site updates. Until then, brush up with What Is Beyond Nen?
